Do I need to put down a weed barrier membrane before applying Landscape Rubber Chippings?
No, a weed barrier will build up a layer of soil on top of it eventually creating the perfect growing conditions for weeds. As long as you have prepared the area correctly by removing any existing weeds and treated the area with a good pre-emergent and applied Landscape Rubber Chippings to the correct depth, you will enjoy many years of weed free, low maintenance, gardening.
